You release a long breath you didn’t even know you were holding, when did this book get so good? You flip the page almost impatiently and allow your eyes to skim through the page slowly, there was only one chapter remaining-the epilogue- but the beginning of the current chapter you were reading had just hit its climax, causing you to mentally block out your cellphone vibrating on the coffee table in front of you and any other surrounding sounds.
You flip the page again and pause your reading to see how much of the chapter you have left, “2 pages…good,” you think to yourself as you lean back against the couch and resume reading.
Suddenly you hear the familiar jingle of keys and freeze, there’s only one person other than you that has the keys to this apartment (aside from the landlord). Hyungshik.
“What’s he doing here?” You lift your head to think back at your last conversation with him, did he say he was coming over or something?
You shake your head and try to focus on finishing the book, if you can accomplish this much, you can happily spend the rest of your day with Hyungshik with no worries.
Just as you turn the page, marking the end of the chapter you hear rustling and grunting coming from the doorway, “he’s probably pulling off his boots,” you stifle a giggle.
“Focus!” You chide yourself and quickly read through the first page of the epilogue.
“______ah, you weren’t answering my calls!” Hyungshik calls out just as he steps into the living room and spots you on the couch.
“Oh, Oppa you called?”
“Yes, multiple times,” he pouts and tosses his jacket and scarf on a vacant chair. He walks towards you and picks up your cellphone, clicks the home button and shows you the number of missed calls.
Your face crumples, how could you have ignored his calls like that? “I’m sorry Oppa…I must’ve been so engrossed into this book-” you pause and lift it up to show him, “I guess I didn’t hear my phone…”
Hyungshik sighs and musses your hair, “It’s okay. I was just worried that something must’ve happened if you weren’t picking up.”
“I’m sorry,” you glance at him apologetically.
He smiles briefly before leaning close to kiss your cheek. “I’m sorry I just barged in here…but manager-hyung just told us that we have a free day and without even thinking twice I drove over here…”
“Ah, it’s okay Oppa. I was missing you.” You smile at him.
“Good. I missed you too.” He grins back.
You sigh and lift your book, “Oppa can I just finish this book and we can maybe eat lunch first or something?”
He furrows his eyebrows, “how many pages are left?”
You rifle through the leftover pages and end up counting ten, double sided. “Ten.”
Hyungshik looks reluctant but he agrees and claims that he can watch TV for a while. He picks up the remote and turns on the TV, occasionally shooting side glances at you.
Halfway through the chapter you look up only to catch Hyungshik staring at you wistfully.
“Oppa,” you call out, breaking him out of his trance.
“Hm?” He puts the volume down.
“I’m almost done,” you smile at him.
“How far are you?”
“A few more pages,” you turn your attention back to your book.
Soon enough you feel his agitation as he starts shifting positions causing the couch to dip every now and then. His leg grazes your thigh as he places it on the ground.
You try your best to ignore the constant movement but it’s really hard to concentrate when you keep bouncing around on the couch due to Hyungshik’s fidgeting.
“Are you done now?” He asks leaning close to peer at your face.
You jerk back in surprise and shake your head.
He pouts in disappointment and turns his attention back to the TV. Suddenly bored with it, Hyungshik shuts off the TV and turns his body towards you.
You swallow subtly and hope you didn’t look as dishevelled as you felt. You could feel his gaze wandering from here to there and then stopping at your hair. He slowly lifts his hand and brushes your hair back out of your face; he shifts a little closer to you, causing you to break your concentration once again and continues to move your hair away from your face occasionally shielding your view from the book.
He gathers all your hair from the back and places it on your right shoulder so he has easy access.
You try not to sigh and once again try your very best to focus on your book. You feel his fingers running through your hair, removing any knots getting in the way as he starts from the bottom of your scalp leading down to the ends of your hair.
It feels good. There’s no way you can deny that. The sudden attention pulls you away from the book as you tilt your head to the opposite side unconsciously, allowing him proper access.
You feel his grin before you even see it. This is his plan, to distract you from your book and give him all your attention instead. You snap out of your momentary trance and furrow your eyebrows, angry at yourself for getting so distracted. With only a page left you practically bury your face in the book drifting off into your reverie, you sigh happily at the loose ends being tied; this book is definitely going on your shelf.
You’re suddenly snapped out of your world as you feel Hyungshik gently kiss the side of your chin. Your lips tremble in shock as you feel a blush work its way up to your cheeks. You try very hard, so very hard to finish the last page in full concentration but you soon feel him work his way up to the side of your jaw causing you to swallow loudly.
“No! This is what he wants!” You think to yourself, you can’t let him get his way. You let out a squeak and inch your face away from Hyungshik’s.
“What’s wrong?” His face is etched with worry.
“N-nothing. I was just surprised.” You smile at him. You can see the glint in his eyes; he’s not going to let this go.
“I’m not distracting you, am I?” He feigns worry and regret.
“N-no,” you respond almost too fast…“no it’s not that, it’s just that…I’m almost done!” You exclaim with sudden force, holding the book up for him to see.
He tilts his head to one side and smiles, “that’s good, finish it quickly!”
You nod your head and slowly turn your head back to your book. Halfway through the last paragraph you feel it. His gaze. Again. You shift your eyes to the corner and peer at him, only to see him staring back at you. Gosh this was never going to end. You impatiently finish the last paragraph in haste and slam the book shut. Done. You’re sure you can re-read the ending some other time.
“Let’s eat lunch,” you turn to face Hyungshik smiling.
His eyes brighten immediately, “what’re we eating?”
You purse your lips in thought, “I don’t know; I’ll have to see what I already have…But I’m sure I can whip something up real quick.”
“I’ll help you.”
That’s a first.
“Okay,” you agree reluctantly, standing up.
You walk over to the kitchen and immediately open the fridge door peering over the yogurt cups and bar of cheese. You bend down slightly and pull out the vegetable drawer. A few tomatoes, a three stalks of celery, lemons, a packet of baby carrots, a bag of bok choy, two green peppers and a head of broccoli, you’re sure you can make something out of a few of these. You turn your head to ask Hyungshik for an idea and you see him rifling through your cupboards.
“Oppa, did you find anything?”
Hyungshik turns to face you and holds up a packet of noodles, “why don’t we make stir-fry noodles?”
You nod your head in agreement, “good idea,” and turn to pull out the needed ingredients.
After placing everything you need on the counter, you direct Hyungshik to start cutting the carrots and green peppers while you cut the chicken and marinate it.
After allowing the chicken to marinate for ten minutes you finally bump your hip to Hyungshik’s pushing him away from his misery. In fifteen minutes he had only accomplished cutting up the peppers into large uneven chunks and the baby carrots into weird bite sized pieces.
You stifle a laugh and place a wok on the stove and pour in some oil. You pass Hyungshik the bowl of marinated chicken and tell him to cook it while you cut up the remaining vegetables.
Pulling out the head of broccoli you notice a tinge of brown in a few places. You carefully cut off the rotten parts and place them on the corner of the cutting board; you’ll throw it out later. After finishing with the broccoli you move on to the bok choy, almost failing to notice a few limp and soggy leafs. You pull those out and place them near the soiled broccoli and quickly chop up the greens.
“_____-ah!” Hyungshik calls out urgently, “the chicken keeps sticking to the wok!”
You rush to his side and turn the stove on low, pushing the chicken pieces around a little.
You glance up to see Hyungshik staring down at a pot of boiling water filled with noodles and realize the noodles might overcook.
You peer into the pot and conclude the noodles are al dente, swiftly shutting off the stove and picking up the pot to drain the water in the strainer you had placed in the sink.
“Should I add in the vegetables?”
“Ah-yeah,” you mumble, a little distracted from the surprisingly heavy weight of the noodles pot. Suddenly a little bit of water splashes onto your wrist causing you to drop the pot in haste. You try ignoring the burning sensation on your wrist and try picking up the pot to finish emptying the remaining noodles into the strainer.
You successfully transfer the noodles back into the pot and leave it sitting on the counter and return to Hyungshik’s side.
Without a word you pick up the empty cutting board and quickly rinse it in the sink and place it back in the drawer. You sigh and dry your hands before picking up the pot of noodles and walking over to see how Hyungshik is doing.
He adds in the noodles quickly and (almost) expertly mixes it in with the vegetables and chicken. You pull out a few spices and add them in, when a specifically large piece of broccoli catches your eye.
You take a few steps back and quickly turn to lift the lid of the garbage can. You didn’t throw them out…you didn’t throw out the rotten broccoli and bok choy pieces.
“Oppa…” you start slowly, “did you…add in all the vegetables on the cutting board.”
“Yeah…wasn’t I supposed to?”
You clear your throat and wordlessly shut of the stove.
“We can’t eat this.”
“What? Why?” Hyungshik’s brow wrinkles in confusion.
“I forgot to throw out the rotten broccoli and bok choy pieces.” You lift up wok and walk over to the garbage bin and empty the contents into it.
Hyungshik stares at you wide eyed and releases a big sigh.
You place the wok into the sink and walk over to Hyungshik. “I’m sorry Oppa…maybe we can order in Chinese,” you smile meekly.
He wraps his arms around you and leads you out of the kitchen, pulling out his cellphone at the same time.
After successfully putting in his order for Chinese food, Hyungshik turns his attention to you. For the past ten minutes you were fully engrossed in your video game, patiently waiting for Hyungshik to finish ordering and come join you.
You hear him pad over towards you as you pause the game and look up to see him looming over you.
“Want to play?” You crawl towards the glass cabinet beside the TV and pull out another controller, quickly moving back to your spot.
Hyungshik settles down beside you-close, might you add-and takes hold of the controller you’re offering him. “Finish your game first.”
“Nah, Oppa, I’ve finished this game so many times. Besides…we can kill time like this until the food arrives.” You end the game and return back to the menu screen. You grin as an idea forms in your head, “Oppa, how about this; the winner gets to eat the last egg roll.” Every time you order Chinese food, the last egg roll’s fate would always be determined by rock paper scissors-with you winning almost every time. You know Hyungshik won’t be able to resist that.
Hyungshik cocks his head to one side and smirks, “can we raise the stakes a little? I ordered more this time.”
You swallow nervously “…okay, what do you have in mind?” Considering past experiences, you honestly have no idea what Hyungshik is thinking, but you know he’s planning something. Somehow he’ll find a way to embarrass you, or make you shy…you don’t know what to expect.
“The winner gets to choose what we do after lunch.”
“That’s it?” You wrinkle your eyebrows in confusion. That’s too easy…too clean for Hyungshik.
“Uhuh,” he nods his head, grinning.
“Okay then…let’s start.” You swing your eyes to the TV screen and enter in the settings for two players.
You surreptitiously glance at Hyungshik one last time and press play.
For the first half of the game you seem to be doing really well. No surprise there. You did after all; play this game more than him.
You feel your attention shift towards Hyungshik as you feel him fidget impatiently, his leg grazing yours a couple of times.
You’re soon broken out of your day dream as you hear Hyungshik cheer silently, you got distracted! Your eyes move back to the screen to see the damage. Not too bad, you can catch up.
You let out a sigh and try to pick up your game before it’s too late.
You feel your concentration waver slightly as Hyungshik slightly leans towards you. He’s close in enough for you to slightly feel his breath on your neck. Was he doing this on purpose? You muster up enough self-control and put your utmost focus on the game. You can do this!
A cheer erupts from your mouth as you quickly finish the game causing Hyungshik to curse under his breath.
“I won!” You turn to face Hyungshik.
He looks at you with a pout and sighs deeply, “what would you like to do after lunch?”
You cock your head to one side and think, what could you do that both Hyungshik and you would enjoy? “Movie! Let’s watch a movie.”
Hyungshik nods his head; he seems to be deep in thought, “okay,” he agrees.
You quickly shut off the game and move back to join Hyungshik on the couch. “So now what?”
“We could just sit here and wait…”
“Or, we could play another game…maybe watch TV?” You pick up the remote from the coffee table.
Hyungshik takes the remote out of your hand and puts it back on the table.
“No?” You frown slightly.
Hyungshik leans a little closer and lifts his hand to push back a tendril of your hair behind your ear. He scoots a little closer and his head starts moving towards yours. You can feel his breath on your face and it makes you nervous regardless of how many times you’ve made out with him.
Hyungshik leans his head down even more until his lips are almost on yours when the doorbell rings.
“I’ll get that!” you jump up from the sofa and literally run to the door.
“That’ll be $43.50,” the delivery man says and you stare at him dumbfounded.
“What did you order Oppa?”
“Food,” is his reply as he gets up to stand behind you.
“How much of it?” you stare in shock as Hyungshik pays the man and the delivery man passes the multiple bags of food to Hyungshik.
“Enough,” he moves to carry the bags into the living room and sets it down on the coffee table.
You shake your head at him, you should’ve known he’d order this much food considering his…appetite. You sit down on the sofa beside him and help him take out the food.
“Should I put in the movie now?”
“So we can watch while we eat?”
“Why can’t we just look at each other while we eat? Or talk to each other?”
“Okay,” you lift your hands in surrender, “we can talk to each other while eating.”
For the first 20 minutes the two of you barely talk to each other at all since Hyungshik is so engrossed in devouring his food. You try to engage in small talk but he just responds with a nod or a grunt. You sigh and lean back into the sofa and continue eating, figuring that when he’s a little sated he’ll talk to you.
You reach forward for the last egg roll and take a bite into it savouring the taste. Out of the corner of your eye you see Hyunshik eyeing you so you cock your head at him.
Hyungshik says nothing as he puts his chopsticks down and moves from the other end of the sofa to right beside you. He’s so close that your thighs are squished together.
Hyunshik shifts a little so that he’s facing you. He lightly kisses your cheek while his hand is making circles on your knee.
He leans closer to kiss you but this time instead of kissing your cheek he kisses the corner of your lips. You’re so distracted that you don’t notice anything wrong until Hyungshik moves back.
“Why’d you stop?” you pout at him only to see his cheeks full of something like a chipmunk. You look down at your hands and see your egg roll is missing, “Oppa…DID YOU EAT MY EGG ROLL?!”
He turns his head away from you and quickly tries to finish chewing, “mow, I bidn’t.”
“Liar! Why are you hiding your face then?”
Hyungshik makes a show of swallowing painfully and turns to face you with a big grin. “______-ah should we watch a movie now?”
You glare at him as you stand up, quickly picking up as many empty containers as you can to throw into the garbage can. Hyungshik picks up the remaining containers and follows you to the kitchen, “_____-ah are you mad?” He pushes the containers down into the garbage bin as it’s already almost full.
You turn around to face him and pout, “Oppa, you cheated….you cheap…cheater-ing…man,” you grumble.
Hyungshik laughs to himself, “don’t be mad, I’ll make it up to you. I promise.”
“How? Order more food?”
“Oh…well I’m sure I can fit in some more food…”
“No! No more food, let’s just watch the movie and go out for dessert or something.”
“Go out for dessert? Why? You have ice cream in your freezer…we could just stay here and eat.”
Oh, that’s a better idea. “Maybe I can bake some brownies too?” You turn to face Hyungshik.
“No, no. Ice cream is good enough.”
“Now?” You ask, already knowing what his answer will be.
He shoots a grin at you and walks you back to the kitchen, helping you grab two bowls and spoons while you take out the ice cream.
Twenty minutes into the movie you finish eating your ice cream and you place the bowl on the coffee table gently, now you can solely concentrate on the movie.
You lift your legs and fold them sideways on the couch leaning against the couch handle and away from Hyungshik.
Hyungshik takes note of this and slowly leans over your legs and rests his head on the side of your arm. “How long is this movie?” He asks innocently.
“I think its and hour and fifteen minutes, why? Do you have to leave soon?” You move your head to the right to face him.
He smiles back up at you and shakes his head, “no I was just asking.”
You turn your attention back to the movie trying not to pay attention to Hyungshiks body pressing against yours…his hand reaching forward to grab onto yours… his- What are you doing? You clear the thoughts roaming your head and try to comprehend what’s going on in the movie.
Halfway through the movie, you’re already sucked in. You’ve successfully ignored Hyungshik-well almost-, and have fallen in love with the main couple and their story.
You sigh wistfully as the couple get together for their first date.
“______-ah,” Hyungshik groans, “instead of watching this, I could just do all that for you.”
“Hm? What do you mean Oppa?”
“I’ll re-enact it all for you.”
“Huh? Oppa stop being weird,” you push him slightly.
“I’m serious ____-ah. No joke.”
“No, I won the bet so we’re finishing the movie.”
“I lost on purpose because I thought I’d be able to fit in my request somehow.” He pouts wiggling closer to you.
“You did? Too bad, that was your fault then.”
“_____-ah come onnnn, I’m sure you’ll like our version better anyways.”
You sigh in annoyance, “fine. I’ll pause the movie and we’ll re-enact a scene. Are you practicing for an upcoming drama audition or something?”
Hyungshik ignores your question, “okay, we’ll just skip the first hour though and just do the remaining fifteen minutes or so.”
“What?…Oppa that’s just the ending. I haven’t seen the ending yet so I won’t know what to do.”
Hyungshik gives you a look and you shut up, “I’ve seen it already…just improvise as we go along.”
You stand up, pause the movie and turn to face Hyungshik.
He gently pushes you back down onto the couch and quickly shuts off the TV.
“Oppa, just out of curiosity what would you have chosen if you had won the game?”
"What do you think I would have chosen?" he asks as he moves closer to put one hand on your knee.
"I-I d-don’t know," you stammer, his warm hand making you uncomfortable as it inches up.
"Guess," he says as his hand fiddles with the hem of your shorts.
"I…I..really don’t know Oppa," he’s making you so nervous you think you’re going to pass out especially since his other hand moves up to cup your face.
"What?" It’s like a cold bucket of water was thrown over you.
"If I had won, I’d have chosen Karaoke."
"Karaoke?? Then…what was all of this? This…this…" you have no words for the annoyance you feel right now.
Hyungshik smirks at you, “oh…all of this teasing?”
"Well," he drawls as he shifts closer, "if you want something all you have to do is ask."
You narrow your eyes at him and in your anger you turn away crossing your arms over your chest.
"Come on _______-ah, don’t be mad. I was just trying to rile you up."
"Well it worked," you huffed still refusing to turn back around.
Hyungshik gently moves your body so you’re now facing him but you refuse to look at him. He nudges your face up with is hand so he can look into your eyes, “are you really mad at me?”
You choose to stay silent not wanting to forgive him easily. But Hyungshik won’t have it as he swoops in and gives you a kiss on the lips.
You smile at him shyly and nod.
"Good," he says moving his head closer to catch your lips in another kiss.

We hope to have the next scenario up soon (might not be sooner than you think, but we’ll try!) please look forward to it!
You sigh as you neatly place your papers into your drawer. Staring at it won’t change the contents of it nor will it make you feel better, you think to your self as you plop down onto your bed.
After a momentary silence, you huff and get up off your bed and saunter over to the kitchen. You figure cooking will maybe take your mind off things and help you feel better. Besides the best part about cooking was that you got to eat something (usually) delicious in the end and now that you think about it, you haven’t eaten anything since 10 am this morning.
You pull out some vegetables from the fridge and get to washing them. Whilst washing the vegetables you get distracted by what happened earlier on this morning and your eyes well up with tears. You take a big sniff, blinking your eyes rapidly trying to think of other things and distract yourself by shutting of the tap and placing the vegetables on the counter near your cutting board. You try to suppress the urge to cry because you know it won’t do you any good, but you can’t help it, you just can’t bear it any more. At first it starts off with just a few tears but then it becomes full forced sobbing.
You don’t even realize how much you’re crying and that you ended up on the floor, until your boyfriend walks in.
”_______-ah?” Siwan looks at you with concern filling his eyes as he rushes over to you, “what’s wrong?”
You sniffle as you try to stop the tears but they just won’t have it, they keep on rolling out.
"Sweetie," Siwan croons as he pulls you into his arms and hugs you tightly, smoothing your hair with one hand as he gently rocks you.
The two of you sit there for what feels like forever before you sniff and pull yourself away from him, wiping your eyes with the back of your hands, “I probably ruined your clothes with all my snot.”
"Baby, you just made my shirt better by gracing it with your snot."
You smile at him trying to cheer you up, “liar.”
"You know it’s true."
You stand up and straighten your clothes, getting back to the task of cutting the vegetables when Siwan takes the vegetable you currently have in your hand and puts it down on the counter. He then takes your hand and leads you to the living room where he urges you to sit down.
You protest, “I have to make dinner.”
"No you don’t," he responds firmly as he gently nudges you to sit down.
"Oppa, I have to make dinner."
"Listen to Oppa when I tell you to sit down. You don’t need to make dinner, you need to relax," with that said he gives you a glare and you sigh as you sit down onto the sofa. You know that if you don’t give in, he’ll just keep badgering you until you succumb to his demands.
"What’s wrong?" he really doesn’t beat around the bush.
"What do you mean, Oppa?" you try your best to deflect the question "what are you talking about?"
"Stop trying to avoid my question, you know what I’m talking about."
You blink at him, “I don’t think so.”
" ______-ah, you know I love you right?" You nod. "Then why won’t you tell me what’s wrong? Do you know how much it hurts me to see you crying like that and then for you to act like nothing is wrong?"
"Oppa, I just…"
"What is it?"
You look down at the ground, “I’m just ashamed to tell you, you’re going to think I’m stupid.”
He takes your hands in his and holds them tightly, “look at me _____-ah,” you look up at him with your eyes glimmering, “I love you, and there is nothing you can tell me that will make me think you’re stupid.”
You take a deep breath, “I failed a class.”
Siwan blinks at you before he starts to chuckle, which then becomes laughter.
You get angry and hit him on his arm, “I tell you something personal and you start laughing?”
Siwan immediately stops laughing but the smile can’t be removed from his face, “I’m sorry sweetie, but I just couldn’t help it.”
"You know how hard it was for me to tell you that, yet you still laughed?" You get up angrily.
"Sweetie!" Siwan gets up and grabs your arm, stopping you from storming off, "I just…I don’t think you’re stupid, you’re quite the opposite. I find you very smart and intelligent and just because you failed one class doesn’t automatically qualify you to be dumb."
You frown, “then why were you laughing.”
"Because, I’ve failed so many classes before."
"Seriously?" You stare at him in shock, "you’re not joking are you?"
He shakes his head, “I absolutely am not joking. Does it make you feel better that I’ve failed more classes than you?”
You cock your head, “a little.”
He pulls you in for a hug, “look, failing a class isn’t a big deal. I know you’re upset and it feels like you’re stupid but it’s not true. I know it’s hard to study for some classes at times or it’s just hard writing some exams, it doesn’t make you any less of a person. In fact, failing a class gives you more character. It shows that you’re not perfect.”
"Oppa, are you just saying that to make me feel better?" You look up at him.
"No, I’m telling you the truth."
You furrow your eyebrows as you instantly regret your rash reaction earlier, why did you make such a big deal?
"Look ________-ah, seeing your imperfections make you perfect in my eyes." He grinned before leaning down to kiss your cheek.
You scowl and punch his arm lightly, “pabo,” you mutter quietly.
He chuckles and promptly pinches your nose, eliciting a yelp from you.
A/N: This is for all of you who requested a Siwan scenario. Thank you to all of you for continuing to follow us. We’re extremely sorry that it took so long to churn out a scenario but here it is. Also very sorry if it’s not that awesome, or amazing quality, to be honest it’s the best we could do in a short amount of time, but hopefully they’ll get longer and better so please continue to send suggestions!!
